Is there a prison that is secure 100 per cent? To a large extent the viewer will learn whether this is possible or not via the movie. Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) is the ultimate prison security engineer. He voluntarily gets jailed and then tries to break out, testing the security of the prison. This is his job. He has even penned a book on prison security.
Breslin is asked to get into a prison facility and try to break free once again. However, this time it is going to be different. He doesn’t know that this time he is being set up. He takes the help of another inmate, Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), to try and break out.
This is the edge-of-your-seat thriller. What is going to happen next? Will Breslin be able to break free again? Can he rely on Rottmayer? How will he find out as to who has set him up? These questions are answered as the movie unfolds. There are quite a few minor and major twists in the plot. There is some good old action which we have come to associate with Stallone and Schwarzenegger. The prison scenes are shot well and look quite realistic. The methods that Breslin resorts to break out of the prison are quite ingenious. They form the core of the movie. Maneuvering through the various security measures in place, Breslin tries to escape and in doing so keeps the viewers on tenterhooks. A master of prison security, Breslin knows all the tactics of how to get out of a prison. So watch out for the clever moves Breslin adopts as he tries to break free from the prison!
The story round which the movie revolves as also the popular cast will have a broad appeal. However, if one is looking for a classic movie, this is definitely not one. It is a decent enough movie to watch once.
